so system of a down rocked my mother fucking socks off. if you have not seen them live i highly recomend it. they played songs off every cd. the higlight of the night was when they closed with sugar! they played many a song from their self titled first cd, which made me happy in my pants.

needless to say they were the 3rd best band ive seen live. 1st being SLAYER, second being MOTORHEAD.

mars volta was sub par, im not saying they were horrible, but they were not great. there were not breaks inbetween the songs, and sience all their shit sounds the same it seemed like an hour long orgy of a song. i do give them a lot of credit for having some face melting solos, bad ass drum riffs, and sax-a-ma-phones. other than that i was happy when they got off stage.

sience i was on the floor, it was manditory that i venture into the pit, which worked out to my advantage because i went from 20 feet from the stage, to 10. also tearing some shit up was a plus!

all and all it was a good night, and i need a cold shower and a cigarette...(even though i dont smoke) thats how good it was.
